Naraku
is a half demon created from the combination of the human Onigumo’s soul and many demons. Onigumo was wounded—burned—and
taken care of by Kikyo in her life. He fell in love with her and obsessed over her and the Shikon no Tama. Finally desperate
to have her and the jewel, he offered his body to demons so he could fuse his soul with those of the demons thus forming one,
Naraku. Once this happened, Onigumo no longer had control of the new beast he was a part of. Naraku morphed into a copy of
Inuyasha and attacked Kikyo, then disguised himself as Kikyo to attack Inuyasha. The idea was to get them to kill each other
over the jewel, thus covering it in malice to make it more powerful and take it for his own. Naraku can take on any form,
but always bares a spider-shape burn scar left from when he was Onigumo. He has almost any power imaginable, including…shall
we say reproduction. These are his spawn, they too have the scar. The incarnations of Naraku.
Side Note: All characters on this page have
appeared on the English version of the anime in the U.S. A few have not, but I can't get much information on those that have
not been on in America unless they are very important to the plot. Grrrr...

Kagura

Sex: Female
Status:
Wind Sorceress/demon
Weapon:
Dancing fan.
Special
ability: Can control the wind. Dance of blades, dance of the dead (she can control bodies of the dead with this), Dance of
the dragon.
Kryptonite: Naraku. He is her creator, and so
holds her heart in his hand and can kill her anytime she betrays him. Kagura wishes to kill Naraku so she can be free. It
is her one desire.
Love: No one yet.
Juuroumaru and Kageroumaru
Age: N/A
Sex: Males
Status: Demons
Weapon: Surprise and speed.
Special ability: Kagerounmaru is inside Juuromaru's body and can only escape from
his mouth. He is like the brain of the operation. Juuromaru has basic demonic abilities like strength etc. But, Kagerounmaru
can fly through the air and "fly" through the ground. He his extremely fast and small.
Kryptonite: Juuromaru himself has no great abilities and is clueless without his
"brother." Kagerounmaru is very cocky and is not very brave when he can't go back and hide in his "brother's" body.
Love: Eachother.
Goshinkishi
Age: N/A
Sex: Male
Status: Demon
Weapon: Claws and teeth.
Special ability: He can read people's minds so he can avoid their attacks before
they attack.
Kryptonite: He doesn't do too well with his head sliced off, now does he?
Love: Himself???

Kanna
Age: N/A
Sex: Female
Status: Demon but she has no aura.
Weapon: Her mirror is able to suck in human souls and then her "sister" Kagura
can animate the bodies. It can also repell powerful attacks.
Special ability: Because she has no aura, Kanna can spy on Inuyasha and the gang
without being sensed.
Kryptonite: Her mirror cannot hold all of Kagome's soul and when it begins to
over flow it is in danger of breaking. Then she must empty it.
Love: Not sure yet. She, unlike Kagura, is dedicated to Naraku and obeys his every
command. He trusts her and relies on her to perform roles he would not trust Kagura to perform.
Muso
Age: As Onigumo about 20. As Muso N/A.
Sex: Male
Status: Demon/human reincarnation of Onigumo.
Weapon: Sword.
Special ability: He can revive his body and morph it with the help of Naraku's
insects.
Kryptonite: Naraku and Kikyo. Naraku can reabsorb him and Kikyo's memory haunts
him.
Love: Kikyo. He is what is left of Onigumo's heart that Naraku attempted to rid
himself of so he would not have that weakness. To have the heart of a human, especially one who loved another human, is a
fault. Muso was reborn with no face and no memories of his life as Onigumo. He ripped off the faces of many people before
he found Muso the monk and was satisfied with his face, so he kept it and named himself after him.
