The arrangement for the Schools festival is as follows:

1. The Archdiocesan Institutions Festival will take place on 29 ^th June 2008
   Mass starts at 8.00am and the festival starts immediately after Mass.

2. The set piece is You are New Creature for mixed or equal voices by Fr James Kabuye and can be accompanied.

3. The hymn from Mujje Tutendereze Omukama will be by ballot between MTO 43 , 116 and 324 (for equal voices 43, 116, 324).

4. Free choices for Western and native should be by a local composer.

5. Sight singing is in the key of F major, 8 bars long, semi-breve, dotted crotchet, crotchet and quaver notes and no rests.

The Interdiocesan Music Festival items are as above except for the sight-reading item which is not done. It will take place on 6th July in the Diocese of Lugazi.

Parish level: Festivals should be in June/July 2008:

1. The set piece is Tunnyikize Obukristu mu Maka by Lawrence Ssemanda.

2. The hymn from Mujje Tutendereze Omukama will be by ballot between MTO 20,and 327 .

3. Free choices for Western and native should be by a local composer.

4. Sight singing is in the key of E major, 8 bars long, semi-breve, minim, dotted crotchet, crotchet and quaver notes and no rests.

Deanery level: Festivals should be in July/August 2008:

1. The set piece is Twevuddemu Abasomi by Fr James Kabuye.

2. The hymns from Mujje Tutendereze Omukama will be by ballot between MTO 20, 327, 387 and 461..

3. Free choices for Western and native should be by a local composer.

4. Sight singing is in the key of E major, 8 bars long, semi-breve, minim, dotted crotchet, crotchet, quaver and semi-quaver notes and no rests.

Archdiocesan Parish Fetival on 21st September 2008, Pope Paul VI Community Centre, Ndeeba:

1. The set piece is Twevuddemu Abasomi by Fr James Kabuye.

2. Free choice Western should be by a local composer (English or Luganda).

3. Free choice Ganda.

4. Sight singing is in the key of E major, 8 bars long, semi-breve, minim, dotted crotchet, crotchet, quaver and semi-quaver notes and no rests.
