Wolf Brand Chili has named DB Seth Anderle of La Grange High School, La Grange, Texas the Wolf Brand Chili High School Football Player of the Week for the week of 12/11/00.

La Grange defensive back Seth Anderle, single-handedly helped the Leopards drop Yoakum and advance in the playoffs. Anderle had a whopping four interceptions in La Grange's 49-22 victory over Yoakum. In all, La Grange intercepted Yoakum's Randy Boone six times, to advance to the Class 3A, Division II quarterfinals. One of the four passes intercepted by Anderle was returned 59 yards for a touchdown. Seth Anderle's outstanding on-field performance has made him this week's Wolf Brand Chili Player of the Week.

Each week of the football season, Wolf Brand Chili, in conjunction with football expert Dave Campbell, recognizes the Texas high school football player with the most outstanding performance. In addition, to naming the official Wolf Brand Chili Player of the Week, Campbell allows fans to vote in a popular ballot on his website at www.texasfootball.com.

Because Seth Anderle has been named Player of the Week, La Grange High School receives a $1,000 donation for academic purposes. The football team's booster club also receives a chili dinner fundraiser, sponsored by Wolf Brand Chili.

Profiles of the players will air over the Texas State networks (TSN) High School Football programs each Thursday through Saturday over 82 affiliated radio stations throughout Texas.
