Beltane 2003
This year, our Bedouin camp grew to five tents and eight brave souls that braved the weather.
Cynthia (shown seated below left) brought her home-made Kanoon fire box back for another year of cooking and added a new feature to her period kitchen.... an oven! Here she is shown assembling it.
Miranda and Di brought the huge 20X24 foot Bedouin and provided a communal lounge space.

Cynthia prepares a feast in her period kitchen for Saturday night's meal. Here she is cooking lamb kabobs on her Kanoon fire box.
And here are the stuffed game hens she roasted in her self made oven.

The site where the event is held every year is simply breathtaking! Pastoral scenes abound.
It was hard to leave this beautiful place on Sunday. Can't wait till next year!
