Hans Leutscher is a Dutch monumentmaker who,
formerly based in Rotterdam, has set up home in Sweden. He has created the beautiful monument on Marquerite's grave. The stone
comes from Finland and Hans created handmade lightblue Marguerite flowers with lifelike branches. Marguerite loved flowers!
It is a real work of art and very unique... just like Marquerite. Hans
also took care of the Memorial Plaque that was unveiled in December 2004 at Euston Station in honour of Marquerite.

The articles
below show important research that has been carried out by the english police and government. Emotional and physical abuse
in and out of a relationship should be taken very seriously indeed. It is a very positive thing that serious attention is
being paid to these issues by the police and the government. As the subject of emotional and physical abuse is becoming more
talked about, i.e. in the press, victims will hopefully feel that their problem IS taken seriously, that they are not alone
in this and that they CAN call for help.

New Law Set To Make Stalking An Offence
Victims of stalking are being failed by the law, according to the
first study of its kind, which has resulted in calls for new ways to tackle the crime. A study of 80 cases by Napo,
the probation union, concludes that sentences handed down for stalking offences are often too lenient and that the law must
be reformed. The publication of the study, which is to be presented to a parliamentary inquiry examining proposals to tackle
the crime, comes after the shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, told yesterday's Labour conference that the law on stalking
needed to be toughened up.

'Anyone who has ever been stalked and/or suffered harassment knows the devastating
effect it has upon feelings of safety, self confidence, self esteem etc.
Everyone should have the right to go about their daily business in safety
and without fear. The constant worry of being stalked can take an enormous toll upon your health and emotional state of mind.
Nobody has the right to harass you or stalk you and the Police and courts can take action against anyone who is doing such

Stalking Victims have a similar
site, but this one is based in the U.S.A.. Their forum is excellent and it is a lively one. (Former)victims of stalking
help out others and provide them with emotional support. Legal information is also given as well as info on crisiscentres
and what to do to protect yourself. Laws seem to differ from state to state and can therefore be confusing for victims
who need to know what help they can get from the authorities. This is a very professional website and you instantly will receive
a warm welcome by other posters who only know too well what you are going through as a victim. It is so great that such a
terrific website exists. Victims often become isolated and the internet to them must be God's gift in these dire circumstances!

Domestic violence and stalking,
independent of one another, are continued threats to individuals and families all over the nation. Nearly 1,000,000 women
and 150,000 men are directly affected by domestic violence each year. Approximately 1.4 million people are stalked each
year. Domestic violence is often a pre-cursor to stalking, doubling the damage, risks and dangers to the victim. This site
is designed to provide support and valuable information for victims of both of these elusive and debilitating crimes.
