Rei & Usagi >> Relationships
Rei and Usagi. They have one of the most misunderstood friendships in the anime. (in the manga, Naoko seems to focus more on Minako and Rei's friendship) Some people misinterpret their friendship as hate. But this is far from true. Any real fan should know that Usagi and Rei are two of the closest friends in the anime. Even the closest friends get on each others nerves sometimes. Rei and Usagi more than most ^_^ Under her rough exterior, Rei really loves Usagi like a sister, and would do anything for her. I think Rei and Usagi are kind of like the comic relief of the series. Sailormoon wouldn't be the same without their constant bickering about every little thing ^_^ And it's Rei who is the most effected when Usagi is hurt in battle, and the same with Usagi. In Sailormars' second death, (I think) she died in Sailormoons arms, Sailormoon crying for her to come back. Very sad ^_^;;
It's true that when Mars first joined Ami and Usagi, she didn't believe Usagi fit to be a Soldier, but she soon saw past her clumsy attitude and bad grades, seeing a girl who is passionete, and fights fiercly for the ones she holds dear. Rei also realized that Mamoru and Usagi were destined for each other, and let Mamoru go, with difficulty. No one seemed to notice how hard this was for Rei, except Usagi, who comforted her. Usagi and Rei are always there for each other and sense when the other has a problem, usually before the other girls notice, and are there for each other.
