Starting the Fair

Well we have started out leaving from Mataura and heading towards Taupo to join up with the Fair. Stopping on the way to make contact with people that make there own olive oils and sauces, not much luck to start with untill we got to Nelson where we found a small company that makes everything that we wanted and is happy to supply us. The hardest part was choosing what we wanted to use but after alot of tasting at the Nelson Market we managed to pick what we want  but well will have to wait and see what sells the best I quess.
We will be making our way up towards Taupo stopping and checking out other suppliers as we go  and hopefully callin to New Plymouth for a week or so to catch up with old friends.

We made it to Taupo alright and parked up just out of town at a place called 5 mile beach by the lake,we were there for about a week when we got asked to move by a D.O.C. worker he was good about it but told us we were'nt sposed to park there, but he told us a place we could park out the other side of Taupo. we spent a couple of weeks there picking up our stock and then doing a pratice setup of our stall which must have looked strange to others driving down there lol.
While we were there a couple of other Gypsyies turned up and we introducded ourselves and they said " you must be the pickle people " thats our nick name that the other gypsys gave us :).
but while we were parked there my Mum died so we had to travel down to Timaru to see dad and the rest of the family.
