James Allen "Jim" (7/25/1903) & Mary Viola (About 1901) Johnson; children of Kate & Eddie. John W. Johnson firstborn child of Kate & Eddie. John died August 1, 1900 and is buried in Pierce Cemetery, north of Lake Creek. His stone reads: "John W. son of E. P. & S. C. Johnson." Harvena Lee "Red" Johnson d/o Kate & Eddie, born on her mother's 32nd birthday, February 24, 1910 in Lake Creek. Charles Richard, Elena Vivian & Mary Viola (Johnson) Edgar.Viola was the oldest daughter of Kate & Eddie. She married Charles, January 20, 1918 in Charleston. Her grandfather and my great-grandfather, J. W. Wilson, M. G. performed the ceremony.
They had 3 children; Vivian who lives in California with her husband, Mary Louise and Charles Richard Jr. Shortly after Charles Jr. was born Viola died in Dallas and is buried there in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Later, Charles Sr. married Andrinne and they had a daughter named Joy.
Vivian and Louise stayed with Grandma Kate most of their childhood and grew up with Aunt Red (Harvena Lee) and Aunt Nancy (Naomi Catherine). |
