Angels Rules
The first and most important rule of Moms'
Angels is that YOUR FAMILY COMES FIRST. You are never obligated to contribute
financially in order to remain in the group. However, we do depend solely on
contributions in order to provide our gifts. Please see the "Donations"
page for more inforation.
We keep the mailings OPEN (not
BCC'ed / blind copied) to encourage communication. However, please use common sense
when choosing to "reply to all". If your message is for one person---don't
send it to everyone else, as well.
Feel free to delete mail if it starts getting heavy--- that's why we have the
newsletter--- so if you can't handle the mail, you can still get brought up to date about
angel endeavors. However, if you choose to delete mail, you also are choosing to
waive your opinion on a variety of issues that may arise and call for input that will be
too late to be counted by the time the newsletter goes out. WE NEVER WANT SOMEONE TO
DROP OUT BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH MAIL! So again, if mail gets heavy and you don't have
time: delete delete delete.
Do not use the mailing list for anything OTHER than Angel related mail. DO NOT send
out jokes using the list, forward emails about how Bill Gates is gonna make us all rich if
we seond on the message, etc. Angel address book is for Angel mail. Period.
:-) We have two mailing lists--- one for Newsletter only (a few people simply don't
have the time for the bottleneck of mail that sometimes happens and have requested to only
get the newsletter to remain a part of the group), and the everyday list. Only the
two people who are involved in sending out the newsletter have that email list. Once
you have joined Moms' Angels, you will receive the everyday list. Please use good
judgment when using it.
You will also receive an invitation to our private web site. It's a place to share
ideas and pictures. We try to keep anonymity outside of our emails, chatroom talks,
etc., so the website is a place to talk about Angel stuff. We have a scheduled
weekly chat on AOL - absolutely NOT required but usually a lot of fun!
The last rule is, that real life is real life, and this group is the group. Do not
bring your emotions from other parts of your life to the group. If you can't separate the
two, take a breather from one or the other until you can. There's just no room for
personal grudges or battles in this endeavor. Not all of our members are friends,
but we all agree to get along for the good of the group.
