Views from the Editors Chair…
Welcome to the 2nd edition of our revamped Newsletter. We listened to the comments some of you made about the format of the first edition and the difficulties with reading small print and have doubled the size.
Thanks to so many members who have taken the trouble to contact us with such positive comments on, and contributions to, the newsletter, thanks very much, it makes the job of compiling the Newsletter very rewarding.
You will have noticed that we now have a name for our newsletter. Many thanks to those who entered the competition. Unfortunately most of the names suggested had been used on other publications. The voting was carried out at the last committee meeting , with the names of the entrants remaining anonymous. “The Main Issue” got the majority vote. The name was conceived by Pete Filby – just so you know who to blame - and as a Committee Member he isn’t eligible for the prize – ah shame.
I hope that you enjoy this months issue, do let me know what you think—good and bad and keep sending your letters, articles, recipes etc.
