McLean about an incident at Fairway to Heaven: "I was standing very innocently
down the fairway when all of a sudden I hear everyone at the tee screaming
for me to move. The VH1 guy standing next to me grabbed me and next thing
I know, there is a golf ball landing three feet from where I was standing!
I look up to see my son hanging his head in shame. I proceeded to get into
the golf cart and drive to the green to keep as far away as possible. VH1
camera team witnessed the ordeal and asked, "Why did AJ try to kill you?"
"I have no idea - I believe it was an accident" - I replied. This became
the big topic for the rest of the day. When AJ finally made it to the green
he jumped out of his cart and waved sheepishly to me and

"During the filming of the
video to "Larger Than Life", AJ suffered a panic attack while still shut
in the his plastic pod (beginning of video). He said it was the combination
of being wrapped in seran wrap while the dry ice was pumped into the confined
