Tradewind

Tradewind is a long-awaited, yearling daughter out of my favorite (and first) Oberhasli doe, Tornado. Tornado had a doe as a yearling, but we sold her as we needed to keep numbers down, thinking that we could get another daughter the following year. What followed were five consecutive freshenings of bucks (and an aborted all-black doe!). At seven years, Tornado finally blessed me with not one but TWO daughters, Tradewind and Thunderstorm. Tradewind was taken to our first show, and entered in one ring where she was Junior Champion! At the 2008 ADGA National show, she was the 8th place Sr. Kid and a member of the 1st place Jr Get-of-Sire, along with her twin sister, who was the 2nd place Sr. Kid. I am very impressed with her mammary system as a milking yearling. She has a very high, very wide rear udder, and one of the best fore udders in the barn, and I cannot be happier with her udder! She will definitely be one to watch in the future! Tradewind was named the 2008 All-American Sr. Kid!
