POINT EDWARD UNITED CHURCH WEDDING POLICY What does it mean to be married at Point Edward United Church?
A Christian wedding is a service of worship. The Christian Church is involved in weddings because we believe that God gives life and love through
Jesus Christ. As God helps us to share our love with one another, we grow spiritually. A Christian marriage is a RESPONSE to God's call to bring two people together and, within its heart, lies a life-long promise made
in the presence of God.Marriage is a GIFT from God in which a woman and a man grow together in love and commitment to one another. God supports us in our attempts to do this. We believe that a
wedding at Point Edward United Church is a COMMITMENT to a Christian marriage based on faith in Jesus Christ.
