~Wings of LIGHT~
How can one illustrate Wings of Light.
How impossible,
a plight
Rather sit with eyes closed until Blinded by His sight,
Then call to Him, beg, entreat Him to leave His flight.
And
stoop to gather you in His embrace,
Enfold and lift, make love to you, until you taste
The sweetness of His honeyed
kiss, dripping, and trace
The pattern, the outline, of His jeweled face.
Unfolding, weeping in His love, clinging,
As
He carries you far above, singhing,
His song ringing, tingling,
In every fiber of your being,
Loved, beloved, in
love, a lover
Wings of inner light that hover
Just above,, uncover
Your hidden heart throne, & flutter
Softly
brushing,
Calm the rushing,
Racing of your pulse, hushing
Tears, erasing fears, blushing
Tenderly, enfolded in
Wings of Light....
