The Centre and Green are operated as an integral part of the Campbell Park Parish Council community properties and sports grounds portfolio.

The parish council received a donation of a £40,000 adventure playground to add to Oldbrook. A condition of the donation was that it cannot be sited anywhere else in the parish. Now that Oldbrook Green has been transferred to the parish council the work is almost completed on this new facility.

It is hoped that in future the fetes that always used to be such a popular feature on the green can be reinstated. These used to be well attended by local residents and display teams of various kinds including those from the armed forces. Such fetes help to encourage a feeling of community spirit in an area. Large numbers of people are involved in such an enterprise.
