"Lucky Lobo" by Natachee Scott Momaday
Short story written about a Navajo girl who moves to the big town of
Gallup, NM. She saves a young wolf's life by stopping a train form
running it over. The girl takes the wolf home. At first, the
girls mother and father do not want the animal until, the wolf saves the
lives of the girl and her little brother from a bugler.
