Letter of Condemnation & Condolences to the Victims Near & Dear Ones

We condemn the attacks on USA by terrorists. Whoever was behind theis dastardly act is a criminal and inherently inhuman and has no Islamic sanction. We stand by the victims in grief and sadness over the unjustified and utterly inhuman tragedy they had to face. 

Each single life is considered sacred in Islam and this has been explicitly stated in the Qur'aan in the following words. The Holy Qur'aan says in chapter 5, verse 32

"... whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind."

We care for justice for every single individual. There is no place for "terrorism" of any form in Islam. As Muslims, we want to let the world know that Islam & Muslims have got nothing to do with such activities and we denounce them vehemently.

At the same time, it is very sad for Muslims to see the name of Islam is being associated with such criminal activities. In the wake of this event, we also seek to prevent Islam from being maligned by vested interests, prevent innocent Muslims around the world from being made the targets of attacks by those ignorant to true Islam. The time is to return to seeking & sharing true knowledge about Islam and Muslims, and not just "half knowledge".
