The Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion are especially appointed by the parish priest to help bring the Eucharist to the congregation during mass and to the house-bound members of the parish. The mission of the group is to develop and cultivate a fervent love and reverence for the Eucharist, which is the true

presence of Christ, so that the same love that Christ himself gives

may be shared with others. Other activities include the annual Day of Recollection.
