I guess I always have been around a Christian atmosphere. I grew up in a Christian home, but when I was little, my mom and dad got a divorce. It really didn't make any since until I got older.
When I was 3, I discovered the wonders of drawing. It is so cool! God has blessed me with a special talent that I will use to glorify His name, for no others are worthy!
When I was around seven or eight, I met my stepmother, Tracy, who is the mother of the six McAllisters. I also met my half-sister, Amanda.
Around that time, I also met my personal Savior and Lord of my life, Jesus Christ. He has been the most influential person to me. He changed me from the inside out. He gave me the peace and joy that comes from only Him. He is the absolute greatest thing to EVER happen to me! I love you Christ Jesus!
When I was in sixth grade, my mom, Robin, wanted to find a new church because the one we went to was about 45 mins-1 hour away. We looked for a few months and finally, my mom went to an event at my sister's school. There, my mom saw another mom from one of the football teams I had played on in the past. Mom asked her, Kathy J., if she had found a church (because at the time Mom knew her, she was looking for a church). She said she had and she and her family loved it! It's name is First Baptist Church!!! I know that was a God thing because Mrs. J. doesn't have any kids that go to that school!!!
Since then we (Mom, Megan and I) have been going there and we love it!! FBCW has such a great youth ministry and church body. We are truly blessed to be in that church.
About 1994, my dad and Tracy started going to a church called Choice Baptist. It is a great church, which has an awesome Pastor. The funny thing is the Pastor, Tim W., is one of my dad's childhood friends!!! We went there for about six years then stopped because it was too far away.
While at CB, I met my best friend, Chris K. Chris is an awesome Christian and is guy that is a true friend to the end!!! I'm so glad that I met him. He has helped me through some rough times and I have helped him. We are there for each other and always will be. I'm extremely glad that I'll be in company with him in heaven, along with our Lord Jesus. Chris is in his Youth Praise Band and, to me, a person I can tell all to. I love that guy (brotherly love!!! not the other kind!)! As of right now, he and I are teaching a Bible study together. I hope that in the future, he and I can go into a ministry together! Also, he and I are in the process of creating a comic called SuperNatural.
My other best friend is a guy named Abbot W. He and didn't start out as friends though. We used to be enemies. When I was about 4 or 5, he and I would always fight. He lives close to me, so we would always see each other. Then I don't know what happened. It's like we just became friends. I don't know how or anything. It's just one of those great mysteries. We have been best friend ever since. I am worried about Abbot though. He is one of my best friends and all, but he hasn't accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior yet. That makes me upset. I'll keep on praying for him though!
Around last Easter, I started to become good friends with a girl named Amy. I had seen her at our church before and had occasionally talked to her, but one day, when our Youth group was helping out for an Easter activity, she and I just started talking. I remember talking to her while sitting on a table in one of the hallways in our church. I was like, "Wow, she is a really cool person". I had liked her for a while, but never had the courage to talk to her for any length of time. Then, all of a sudden, we became really good friends. We started e-mailing each other, telling bout our days and our asking for prayer, and really being good, Christian friends to each other. One day, in June of this year, one of her good friends asked me a strange question..."Do you like Amy?" I was shocked, but answered, "Yeah." She then told Amy (which I didn't know). The next day, June 5th, Amy had called and my mom told me she wanted me to go running with her, I was already out the door and running over to her house (she lives like 2 miles away, but I didn't care!). I decided, on the way, that I would tell Amy that I like her after we ran. So we ran and then I was walking her back to her house, all the while thinking, "TELL HER YOU PANSY!", but I didn't. That night, I was talking to her online. She told me that Andrea told her something that was interesting. I was frozen. I then (FINALLY!) told her that I like her. She returned the likingness. I was ecstatic! The only thing is, we both have made a commitment to God that we wouldn't date, or go out for that matter, with anyone until we are 16. So, right now we just are really good friends.
Now you know a little about me.
