1.    Do not plan your road trips ahead of time.  Things usually work out better if
       you do it spontaneously.

2.    Gather $20 dollars total from all bros accompanying and put it away before
       you even leave school.  Chances are if it's a good weekend, that's the only
       gas money you'll have left over to get back to school.

3.    Remember all essential items: toothbrush, cologne, plenty of boxer briefs
       you non underwear wearing bros, those girls numbers you got from the
       previous road trips to that school, camera for historical purposes, jim hats
       if you need 'um, (prophylactics for the slang impaired) at least two since you
       know a brother is going to snag one, I.D. because you ain't going nowhere
       without it, gel or mousse for you pretty boys, bros numbers if it's your first
       time here (how many times have we gone to another campus saying to each
       other yah we'll find the Beta crib and the house is at a new location), a 
       blanket because you may end up on the floor with the girl you just shacked
       up with, a second blanket since your brother just snagged the first one with
       the girl he just shacked up with!
 
4.    Have all Buffalos present for inductions with required beverage in hand.

5.    Be prepared to trade wood!!

6.    Bring your stepping and strolling skills!

7.    Never underestimate the power of a bottle of Bacardi Limon... on second
        thought nor a bottle of Vodka, Malibu, or Tequila for that matter.

8.    Strive to visit more than one university in a weekend, now that's an
       accomplishment.

9.    If two or more bros sleep on one bed, the first one to snore gets kicked off.
 

10.  Always keep a 2x4 handy. You never know when a homeless guy will come up to you and

        start a fight.

11.  Make sure you have big-enough cup holders in your vehicle for those times when your bros

        are drunk and order a bucket of water and an 80 piece McNugget from the drive-thru.
 

12.  Finally, if you go to bed and wake up with a bunch of bros and sisters
       all crashed out in your hotel room... don't worry, it won't be the last
       time it happens!!
