If your Bonsai look good you will want to display them safely and practically. Consideration must be given to how you
will water and maintain them and most importantly if they are safe and stable.
I display my own trees on benches which
I have made myself using plain decking planks and concrete screening blocks. See my displays above and below.
Bonsai
can also be displayed individually on top of "monkey poles" which are made by fixing a wooden platform on top of a post or
pole set in concrete or knocked into the ground.
However you display your Bonsai always:
1. Keep them off
the ground to protect them from pests.
2. Make sure each tree is in the correct position. The many different varieties
look good together but they must all have the right amount of light depending on the species. Place small Bonsai in the shade
of larger ones to prevent them from drying out quickly during hot weather.
3.Keep the display bench or stand as
basic as possible to show off the trees, not the display.
4. If the display is higher than two feet make sure
it is stable. Do not stand concrete blocks more than two high, they can easily topple over. I know this to my cost!
