A Special Thanks goes to Mr. Jason Thompson for his years of service to the Grain Valley School District.

Mr. Thompson has been employed with GVSD for nearly ten years. Jason has been a custodian for the High School, Middle School and most recently has filled the position of Lead Building Custodian for Matthews Elemetary.

He is currently the senior member of the Buildings & Grounds staff. In March of 1998 he added "bus driver" to his resume after joining the Transportation Staff as a substitute bus driver. He has driven many of the bus routes and has served as a driver for Sni-a-bar Elementary's bus # 23 and bus # 22.

Jason was also a 1991 graduate of Grain Valley High School. After spending nearly half his life as a students and team member of the Grain Valley School District, Mr. Thompson will be leaving us to pursue other avenues after the first of the year.

Mr. Thompson's years of service to the school district and community have been appreciated and his light hearted goodwill shall be missed by all.

The Transportation Department would like to extend our best wishes to Jason in his new endeavors. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and for doing your part to make the Grain Valley Schools a better place for our students.

- The Staff of the R-5 Transportation Department.
