Yine Sensiz
Yine Sensiz means "Again without you". In less than a year, Tarkan became the most important star of turkish pop thanks to this album, which sold 700,000 copies. At that time, Tarkan was about 20 years old; you can tell that for he looks very young on the cover of this CD. When
Tarkan was about to give up his dreams to be an artist and return to
Germany, a friend introduced him to Mehmet Sögütoglu, owner
of Istanbul Plak, one of the most important record companies of
Turkey. When he listened to Tarkan's demo, he realised the young man
was gifted and had the aptitude to be a star. Sögütoglu
became his producer, and Tarkan recorded his first album, Yine
Sensiz, in 1992, under Istanbul Plak, with which he still works today.
