As Michiru's concert abruptly ends, Venus informs the others that the teen idol, Mimi Hanyu, is the enemy. Sailor Venus confronts the enemy, lifting the Infinity students out of their trance. When the others arrive, Mimete is outnumbered and asks Kaori Night for a daimon. Sailor Moon defeats the creature, but a second one appears. A mysterious voice calls out "Deep Submerge" and another "World Shaking." These attacks from two mysterious new Sailor-suited women kill the other daimon.

The new scouts introduce themselves as Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus. Sailor Chibi-Moon recognizes the hand mirror in Neptune's hand as the talisman Michiru carried with her. Uranus informs the group that they do not ever intend to fight together with them. Sailor Neptune starts playing her violin, at which point Tuxedo Mask recognizes her. Sailor Uranus attacks the group with her "World Shaking" and the pair disappears.

Later, Luna informs them that the sailors they encountered where those supposed to protect the Silver Millenium from a distance. Since they are very mysterious, Luna thinks their presence may indicate an emergency. The others are very unsure of their feelings towards these newcomers, feeling that their previous attack proved them to not be allies. That night, Bunny and Darien both dream of a being called the "goddess of destruction."

Bunny waits after school for Darien, but it is Haruka who finds her in the park. She realizes that Haruka is Sailor Uranus. Darien comes up, and Haruka vanishes.

Rini is looking for help with her homework after school. For her art class, she is trying to make the "Legendary Grail," which Diana and Rini explain to be a holy cup of Neo-Queen Serenity's, that gives her power "when danger approaches... to save the people."

Bunny and Darien are at his apartment; the atmosphere between them strained. Bunny is about to explain her being with Haruka earlier when Rini bursts in, asking for help with her project. By the time the couple help Rini finish the grail, the little girl is asleep. They smile at each other, and then Bunny apologizes for her behavior lately. She admits her jealousy towards Michiru, and he towards Haruka. Darien tells Bunny she and Rini can spend the night. Under the covers, Rini gives Diana a little conspiratorial smile.

Amy keeps up with her studying ways. She invites them to another cram school, explaining there is one student she cannot surpass so far, Yui Bido from the Infinity College. Amy goes to the school, where she does meet the genius Yui. She invites Amy to attend Infinity College on a trial basis. After telling the other scouts she will call them if needed, Amy agrees to Yui's request.

In the school, Yui Bido shows Amy a galaxy created in a box, the Tau System. She goes on to explain that students in the top marks also get to teach at Infinity College. She leaves to attend a lecture, but actually goes to talk to Kaori Night as Viluy, member of the Witches 5. She promises to capture the hoste of Sailor Mercury.
