Amy runs into the basement of Infinity College, finding an animal research lab, full of daimons. Viluy captures her as Haruka and Michiru enter. Amy breaks away, and calls the others before she transforms. Sailor Mercury's attack is ineffective against Viluy, who uses nano-machines to eat away Mercury's body. The others arrive, but are cut off when Haruka and Michiru enter and transform to Sailor Uranus and Neptune. They kill Viluy, saving Amy before running off again.

At KO University, Reika meets a new student in the Physical Sciences department, Setsuna Meioh

The area around the Delta, where the Infinity school is located, registered strange data, so Setsuna and her professor investigate the region. She suspects dimensional warping, but has not found the data to prove such yet.

In the Tomoe Research Lab another animal turns into a daimon, another failure. The professor and Kaori then meet their master, Pharaoh 90, who instructs them to bring him more Hoste for the Taioron Crystal, and to destroy the Sailor Scouts.

At school, Rini and her classmates are instructed to give their sculptures to someone special, so she decides to give her Grail to Hotaru as a gift of friendship.

In the Gardening Club after school, Lita learns of a new flower, the Tellun, which supposedly thrives without water and gives a beautiful flower. The girls have a meeting and discuss the role of Professor Tomoe with the Death Busters, and find out his daughter is Hotaru. On the way home from the meeting, Lita stops to get a mysterious Tellun plant.

When Bunny arrives home, she finds Rini leaving to visit Hotaru. Because of what she just learned, Bunny insists on following. When Bunny steps out for a minute, Hotaru has another attack. She seems to be possessed as she grabs to hold Rini's brooch. After a minute, Hotaru comes back to herself.

The next day, Mina visits Lita's apartment. They look at the Tellun and fall asleep. After awhile, they wake up to find the Tellun budding and all the other plants wilted. Lita takes out a large knife, and slices up the Tellun, which releases some kind of energy.

All the scouts visit the Infinity Bank, feeling something is wrong. They enter the green house to find all the pink Tellun blossoming, and the people collapsed on the ground. Their own energy fails them as Tellu of the Witches 5 looks down with glee.

In her office, Setsuna is passed out, a blossomed Tellun at her side. In their apartments, Haruka and Michiru sense someone close to them is in danger. Setsuna wearily calls for help, and a voice inside her calls "awaken" as a Pluto symbol appears on her forehead. Setsuna, Haruka, and Michiru are all transported to be together.

All of the inner scouts transform and face off against Tellu. However, Sailor Moon's "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" does not work. Sailor Chibi Moon prays for power, and her Luna P ball transforms into a small moon scepter. Her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" turns Tellu into a monster. Then, a "Dead Scream" kills it. Everybody looks up, shocked, as Sailor Pluto stands with Sailors Uranus and Neptune.
