The holy grail forms in Sailor Moon's hands and the others stop their fighting to stare. Her desire has brought all her friends back onto the same side. As the cup opens and she transforms again - into Super Sailor Moon, the brooches of the other soldiers glow and change into heart-shaped lockets.

This increase in power is startling to the Witches 5 and the others of the Death Busters. Hotaru is having another attack, feeling torn apart. But then she looks up with glowing eyes and informs Master Pharaoh 90 the power is from the Silver Imperium Crystal.

Super Sailor Moon quickly dispatches Cyprine and Petite Roll with her new "Rainbow Moon Heartache" attack. Super Sailor Moon seems amazed by the new power she has gained from all her friends, and happily proclaims them all allies, inner and outer soldiers alike.

Neptune tells her princess about the last time that they had seen their talismans activate, during the Silver Millenium. From far away, the outers watched as their world was destroyed, and at the moment of it's end, their talismans resonated, calling forth the soldier from the "forbidden planet," the last Sailor Scout. Sailor Saturn is the soldier of silence, whose glaive heralds the end of it all. And they know Hotaru will soon awaken to become Saturn, and to stop the destruction of their world again, Uranus and the others will kill her. Chibi Moon is horrified at them wanting to kill her friend, and the inner soldiers are also hesitant to take such a drastic course. Uranus goes on to explain Hotaru was turned into a partial cyborg after the fire she was caught in as a child. It was the way Professor Tomoe saved her life, but now her young body is falling apart. Still the outers are going to seal Saturn away, which is why they cannot work alongside the other scouts.

After Pluto, Neptune and Uranus leave to complete their mission; Chibi Moon starts running towards her friend's house. She feels that no matter who she is, Hotaru deserves to live. But, when she comes upon her collapsed friend, Hotaru picks up her head with glowing eyes, as a demonic hand reaches out and rips the brooch off of Chibi Moon's chest. Rini collapses on the ground as Hotaru's hair grows much longer and a black star appears on her forehead.
