Kumeu - March 2002
There was a lovely playground at Huapai. We went there after shopping for groceries. Henry had been looking forward to the shopping trip, because they have some great shopping trollies, in the form of Yellow cars, and one of them plays 'The Wiggles' music. Henry's favourite. Well, both cars were out of order, so it was a very sad boy I took shopping. A bag of chips did help.
We went back to the shop a week later with Anne-Marie, thinking the cars would still be out of order. so it was great delight, when Anne-Marie spotted one of them still working. It was short lived, it was the wrong car. Not the 'Wiggles' one, so Henry did not want a ride in it.
The playground was great, as there was a lot of acorns on the ground, so something to pick up and a new word to learn.
A ride with morfar on the lawnmower. Henry loves playing on it, but at Christmas, he did not want to get on it with Morfar when is was going.
After 11 years, I have finally trade my car. My old Bluebird, was a great car, I did over 260000 km in it. I have now got a 1997 Honda Accord. Really nice car. Kept my plates of course. Henry got very good at finding my car in carparks, he would check the plates, until he found the one with 'BIBEKA' on it. He laso knows that Morfars plates says 'FRIIS'
