Attended the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT) as a reserve
player. The PIT held annually in Virginia is an event for NBA scouts and general managers to analyze players pro potential
coming out of college. Was one of the draft prospects of the NBA Utah Jazz during the 1999 NBA Draft but went undrafted.
After being invited to training camp by the Fort Wayne Fury of the Continental Basketball Association started pro career by signing with the 1999 International Basketball Association
DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Youngstown Hawks. Averaged 15 minutes, 9.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 block shots, and 2.9 assist per game while shooting .510 % from
the field, .462% from three point range, and .875% from the free throw before being released due to pending relocation of
the team in 2000.
During the 2000 spring/summer months signed with SanLazaro in the Dominican Republic Superior League averaging 25 minutes, 16.7 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assist, 1.4 block shots per game
while shooting .550% from the field, .430% from three point line, and 1.000% from the free throw line.
Participated in the prestigous Pro Basketball Invitational Review in North Carolina directed by former 1985 NBA Utah Jazz draft pick and France Pro A legend Delaney Rudd. The review included
current and former players from the NBA, NBDL, CBA, ABA, USBL, and top international leagues. During the invitational Bridges
averaged 19 minutes, 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1.3 block shots per game while shooting .620% from the field, .728% from 3 point
range, and .875% from the free throw line while being selected as a FIRST TEAM ALL STAR and Co MVP along with Omar Sneed.
For the 2000-2001 season signed in France with Feurs of the National Masculine 1 league. Averaged 34.4 minutes, 22.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.4 block shots, 2.7
steals, 2.6 assist, while shooting .552% from the field, .527% from 3 point range, and .836% from the free throw line. For
players complete team/game by game statistics, official federation league rankings, and official France Federation de Basketball
rankings amoung top american leaders in pro divisions.
In early 2001 moved on to Argentina and signed as a replacement player with Independiente Pico La Pampa in the Liga National de Basketball Liga A for tournament series. Averaged 11 minutes, 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assist,
1.6 block shots, and 1.4 steals while shooting .512% from the field, .467% from 3 point range, and 1.000% from the free throw
line. During the international competition off season; in July 2001 participated in Kentucky Pro
AM tournament observed and regulated in part by current NBA Miami Heat scout Randy Embry. Averaged 24.1 points per
game, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assist, 1.7 steals, and 2.5 block shots while shooting .590 from the field, .580 from three point
range, and .916 from the free throw line. Also during the off season in 2001 Bridges was drafted in the first annual season
of the Southeastern Basketball League based in Atlanta Georgia. Averaged 26.7 points per game,
10.3 rebounds, 4.1 assist, 2.2 steals, 3.2 blocks, while shooting .535 from the field, .483 from three point range, and .807
from the free throw line. The SEBL season was abbreviated due to the September 11th terrorists events.
In October 2001 signed to play only national cup competion
games with team Ballina (IRL D1). Averaged 27 points, 13 rebounds, 5.5 assist, 2.1 steals, and 3.5 blocks while shooting .560 2 fg %, .550 3pt.%, and
.880% ft.
From February - early September 2002 played with Kilsyth in the Australian Basketball Association (ABA). Averaged 33 minutes, 21 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assist, 1.8 steals,
1.5 block shots while shooting .471% fg, .443% 3pt, and .771 ft. Was selected as MVP of the team by league officials
and also an ABA All Star. Late August 2002 played in pre season match with the Canberra Cannons vs Melbourne Tigers of the National Basketball League (NBL) in Australia. During late September 2002 was a member of the ABA All Stars playing against the NBL Victoria Giants. In four games against the NBL Victoria Giants Bridges averaged 25 minutes, 17.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2 steals,
1.3 assist, 1.0 blocks while shooting .586% fg, .539 3pt, and .875% ft.
In July 2003 tests with T71 Dudelange but did not sign. In four games averaged 22.5 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game, 2.0 assist per game, 3.8 block
shots per game, and 2.0 turnovers per game while shooting .589% Field goal, .625% 3pt, .870% Free throw. Average age of T71
team was 18.3 years old. Departed T71 Dudelange before season for opportunity in the German 2nd Bundesliga team Freiburg but
due to key injuries in back court Freiburg decides to sign american point guard instead.
From January to September 2004 signs with defending champions Shepparton Gators. Averaged 17.7 points, 11.8 rebounds (3.6 offensive, 8.2 defensive) 2.2 assist, 1.5 steals, 1.3 blocks, 3.1 turnovers, 2.7
fouls. From the field shot .448% FG, .387% 3pt, .746% FT. Ranked 5th in the league in overall rebounding and received votes
for selection to the leagues All Star five at the Forward position.
From late October 2004 to April 2005 signs with F.C. Gaia (POR 2a). Averaged 21.6 points, 11.8 rebounds (4.1 offensive, 7.7 defensive) 3.5 assist, 2.1 steals, 1.7
blocks, 2.6 turnovers, 2.7 fouls. From the field shot .560% 2pt FG, .440% 3pt FG, .540 Tot FG, .840% FT.
