1) In 2003 Marissa
(and Harvey Fierstein)co-hosted Broadway Bares XIII: Burlesque is Back while wearing (only) a Bad Girl
Babydoll from Victoria's Secret.
2) One of the first
things she bought when becomming a star was a Juicy Couture sweat suit (in every color!).
3) In Hairspray, when
the light focuses on Penny and Seaweed, Marissa and Matt would lick each other's noses and then do an eskimo kiss.
4) Marissa attended Fox
Lane Highschool. She was a cheerleader, too.
5) She grew up in Bedford,
New York.
6) Her birthday is February
2nd, and she's an Aquarius.
7) During the filming of
"Scary Movie" when trying to get through the garage door, she made the director laugh so hard he had to leave the room!
8) Marissa has asthma,
along w/ a jewel incrusted inhaler!
9) While having her
picture taken after recieving her Tony award, the bottom fell of it and she had to get a new one. :-(
10) For her going away
gift (from Hairspray) John Waters gave her a ceramic recreation of Micheal Jackson dangling his baby over the balcony...He
bought it off of Ebay (where else would he get it?)
11) Marissa was the first
person to audition as Tracy, and got the part! And while auditioning she had cancer...but didn't tell anyone because
chances are she would not have been cast.
12) Marissa's culture/background
is Jewish/Russian.
13) She was the captain
of her school's soccer team!
14) It has been brought
to my attention that Marissa's favorite movie is not Weird Science. It is Surreal Mom. However, Weird Science
was her favorite movie during high school.
15) One of Marissa's goals
is/was to be a gay icon...and she's glad she is! (And no, that doesn't mean she is a lesbian)
16) Marissa's best
friend is Cathy Trien who is currently acting in Gypsy.
17) Her favorite
color is said to be purple.
18) Marissa's sister is
a 5th grade teacher.
19) Her hero is her
6-8th Grade music teacher, Mr. Walter. She invited him and his wife for the opening night of Hairspray.
20) On the night of accepting her award for Best Actress in a Musical,
Marissa got stuck in an elevator at Sardi's while rushing to get to the theatre for that night's perfomance.
21) While working as Tracy in Hairspray, Marissa was refered to as a German
Teddy Bear because she had so much craziness going on.
22) Marissa refers to "Beautiful Girl" as "Hairspray for the Masses".
23) Beautiful Girl featured all of Marissa's own clothes, except for the
two pageant dresses.
24) In Beautiful Girl, the song "Fall Reaching" cut out a whole verse.

25) Marissa's Tony dress had to be a dark color so she could wear
her red and white candy striped panties--which she says bring luck to her. Whatever works!
26) On the first day of getting together with the cast of Stacked, Marissa
and Pam Anderson arrived wearing the same faux white Juicy Couture outfits...However, Marissa changed so the crew memebers
would be able to tell them apart ;-)
27) The finger in Episode #3 that Katrina (Marissa) seems to grip on to
and never want to let go, is actually that of a crew member. :-D
