These papers and presentations are about the External Tank (ET) which gives you an idea of their history, the components they are made of and how they are made, and what they could be used for in the future. Now, they just burn up in the atmoshpere and fall into the ocean.
The presentations were made with PowerPoint which gives you a good overview of the ET along with some good pictures. The papers have more detail and include many references that deal with the ET.
