going home

so i figured i should write now, because very soon i'm going to be packing up this computer of mine to put in storage for the summer. i'll have a computer at home to work on, but this is my last chance for today.

i'm going home. my plane leaves in 20 hours. goodbye swarthmore, hello lafaytte. i am sad to leave, but excited to see what the summer holds for me. and i know next year should be fun. i'm excited to be living with corey and gabe and the two sarahs and jess and emily. but i really wish david was living with us as well. i actually really wish the two of us had found an apartment together. maybe it just wasn't meant to be. but we've been discussing living together someplace cool, like michigan, for a couple years after we graduate. and i'll kayak around the lakes, and look for moose. someone will pay me to do that, right? i would really love to live with david, but then i also have these opportunities for work after graduation, at the outdoor school, or going and being the intern up on vancouver island at the study abroad program i went on, the school for field studies. but i guess those are both things i could put off for a couple years.

okay, well, i'm going to start putting the computer into boxes, so i can finally be done with all this packing. and then have time to say goodbye tonight.
