what the immediate future may hold
i just discovered today that my friend sarah also has an online journal. i was just looking through the swarthmore student pages today, in a curious moment. and i found sarah's and found her journal and i enjoyed looking at it, which gives me hope for this one. i hope someone is enjoying reading these. maybe, if you're looking at this now, you could email me. i would appreciate it. feedback, comments, i like your journal, whatever. i'll take it. just to know someone is reading this.
i think i want to start gardening. it will take much work to clear a workable space in my backyard though. so maybe it will have to be a potted garden. better than nothing, eh? there is something so satisfying in getting down and dirty in the earth. to have brown hands and those gray lines under my fingernails. it's an... organic feeling, to say the least. and maybe i'll get the compost bins up to par. we use them, but we're composting the "lazy way," as steph would say. time to put on my rubber boots and my work gloves and start mucking around. what fun! it makes me feel like a kid again.
and i want to get more photos of those people i love up on my page. yes, more photos.
well, there we go, there are some plans. it's good to have them.
