Anais's Cozy Corner was created using some special fonts. Please be sure to download them now, if you wish to see the pages as they were intended after reading the instructions that have been provided below. The fonts include: Comic Sans MS, President, Regency, and Technical.
For Windows 95 users only: You may wish to check to see if you already have these fonts installed on your computer by going to your Windows/Fonts directory and looking for the above mentioned fonts there with the file extension of .tff or .fon before downloading the fonts. If you do not already have them, please click on the fonts above to download each one by simply right-clicking on the link and telling it to open the link in a new window. Once you have downloaded the file, close the window and return to this page to finish getting all of the fonts by repeating the process. Then you will need to use an unzipping program such as WinZip or PKzip to use them. Just have the files extracted to your Windows/Font directory or you may wish to unzip them into a temporary file and install them from your Control Panel.......either way should work for installing the fonts onto your computer. Once you have the fonts installed onto your computer, you should be able to view my webpages as they were designed to be seen. All of the fonts are in zip files and were found to be virus-free before they were uploaded to my directory.
For safety's sake, I do recomment that you scan the downloaded files yourself once they are on your computer for any viruses using whatever virus-scanning program that you have BEFORE you install them onto your computer!!! I cannot guarantee that the zipped files will remain virus-free and you will be downloading and installing them at your own risk. If you need a virus scanning program, I would recommend McAfee's Virus Scan which does have an evaluation program that you may download and try out free for 30 days before you have to decide whether or not you would like to purchase the program.
The above instructions are for Windows 95 users only—please consult your documentation if you are using Windows 3.1 or a Mac.
