On the last day of February, I was looking at a nickel that I had received in change that day at work. The date on the nickel was 1948.This is that nickel.

I thought about what Jesus said.

"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." Matthew 24:32-34

Suddenly an inner voice spoke to me.
"When you see 1998 stamped on a coin,
you know the time is near."

Time for what? How near? I don't know
I keep thinking about what the master of the wedding banquet said after he tasted the wine that had been changed from water,"...you have saved the best till now."New wine poured into new wineskins!

On September 3, 1998, I saw 1998 on a quarter.

He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."
