I think I can say, without a doubt, that my PC is my
FAVORITE 'favorite thing'. As many times as I've
had problems (so many I can't count 'em) and wanted to kick,
,stomp
and pitch it out the window (upstairs too), I would baby , doctor, and
call the Technical Support Guys so many times, when their phone
rings I'm sure they can tell who is calling. I then have to wait an
hour or two for them to get a break, nap,
eat or
something, before they decide they want to hear me again.
Even before I got onto the Internet, whenever I'd sit down here to
do
'whatever', it fascinated me to no end. I am amazed every time I
learn something
new. MOST of my learning has come through trial and error.
However,
I've had a couple friends here and a few from the 'Net' to really
help me
with a some of my problems. Very nice people! Sometimes it'd help, a
lot of
the time I'd still have to wind up figuring it out myself.
Surely There's A Simple Way To Explain Directions, wouldn't you Think?
AND,Just like YOU, yes, YOU...I can sit down in front of my keyboard and I
am in awe! There before me is the Whole World, right at my fingertips! THAT
is mind boggling to me, but it is So True. To turn this contraption on with
a click of the 
go
online and be able to talk (yes, talk), with someone in South Africa, Iceland, Asia, Europe,
anywhere, is truly a miracle! But I have, and I do, and I love the different
people and their cultures.
I am VERY thankful that Our Lord let me live long enough to have the
privilege of learning a small fraction of, to partake in, and to enjoy this technology!
My only regret about waiting so long to own one is that IF I had gotten one
when they first came out, it would have really made a difference
in my life. 'Course at THAT time I probably WOULD have stomped and pitched it
out the window.
