Mintage: 6,361 + 3? Proof
The 1844 Liberty Eagle has the lowest Philadelphia mintage of
any in the series prior to 1858. It is a very rare date
that may well be under-rated, as it does not have demand
from, for example, New Orleans or Carson City branch mint
collectors.
