Don't Let Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Take Your Life Over

I have now added a Chat Room to this website concerning Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This is a disease, while not fatal, can take over your life and possibly your sanity. I know, I have it. I know what it is like waking up on any given morning, not able to move or get out of bed. I know what it is like not knowing what each day will hold. I know what it is like to see disapointment in your child's face when you cannot live up to a promise made.

This is a disease that can become so disabling, that a Fibro patient can and is eligible for Social Security Disability. However, I also know what it is like going test after test, doctor after doctor, until you find the one that knows what you are dealing with. Make sure you are taken care of if you cannot work.

While I am no expert at this disease, I have been basically homebound with this disease for over 3 years. I would be happy to share any experience I have with anyone who needs it.

I Must Bloom Where I Am Planted!

Don't think of me when you look upward to the treetops swaying in the breeze.

I must bloom where I have been planted. For I cannot climb or crawl or scale.

Grounded by love, support and empathy, my spirit will rise toward the sun.

My petals open to the warmth of the hearts that beat from me.

I will bloom where I am planted, just for those who care to dream with me.

Every season as I rise toward the sun, until my petals fade and grow no more.
