Richmond,VA. April 10th 1972. The concert was filmed by a MGM crew for the movie " Elvis On Tour ", the previous day in Hampton Rds,VA. Elvis also wore the " Red Burning Love " jumpsuit for the matinee performance, some parts of that show was also filmed but no footage from it was ever used as all the sequences in the movie with that jumpsuit are from Richmond. Before Elvis gets on stage in the movie at the beginning, there's also a sequence with that jumpsuit in his dressing room, that footage is from Little Rock, Arkansas of April 17th.
That concert was released on the CD " Carry Me Back To Old Virginia ", however it was incomplete ( about 7 songs missing ) and it doesn't indicate either these missing songs weren't filmed, when " Live In Virginia " ( Hampton Rds,VA. April 9th 1972 evening ) came out, " You Gave Me A Mountain & I Got A Woman " were missing as well from the show, still these two were equally filmed as both were in the movie.
The " Red Burning Love " jumpsuit was new for 1972, more precisely brand new for the January - February 1972 Vegas season, here's a few photographs of Elvis trying this jumpsuit in his Vegas suite in January 1972.
