Hampton Roads,VA. April 9th 1972 matinee show. Most fans already know that the main portion of the live footages included in the movie "Elvis On Tour" was from the evening performance in Hampton Roads.

According to "Elvis Sessions" book a portion of the afternoon concert was also filmed.It's very possible that the portion filmed would be the one where Elvis sang in that order: Jailhouse Rock (rare for 1972), One Night (idem), Hound Dog and Help Me Make It Through The Night.

Elvis wore the "Red Burning Love" jumpsuit as this concert, the following day M.G.M. crew were also in Richmond,VA. and possibly filmed the whole concert.

This photograph was taken at the afternoon performance in Hampton Rds, we can see on the picture that one camereman is using his 16mm for a sequence, which wasn't obviously available into the final product.

Other concerts were filmed including the opening show in Buffalo,NY.
