Chicago,IL June 17th 1972 evening show.This was the third and last performance in Chicago in two days, the details on the matinee performance are featured on page 1972-3.

Elvis was wearing the " Blue Nail jumpsuit ", this jumpsuit was brand new for the January-February 1972 Vegas Season and became well known as a lot of footages with this was included in the movie " Elvis On Tour " and the " Lost Performances " video.

The stage belt showed in these photos is the one that was designed for that jumpsuit, however Elvis used several times a belt that was designed for a 1971 jumpsuit ( the White Fireworks ), in fact Elvis used that belt with some other light blue jumpsuits such as : Tiffany's jumpsuit (Honolulu Nov. 18th 1972 evening show) & the Blue Leaf (Madison Square Garden June 10th matinee show). Eventually I will add photos of these other jumpsuits with their different belt variants.

The " Blue Nail jumpsuit " was rarely worn after the June 1972 tour. It's quite possible that Elvis wore it during the August '72 Vegas season but never seen footages or photos that would prove this, the last time he did wear that jumpsuit was at the opening show of his November '72 tour in Lubbock,TX.
