He married Cynthia R. Miller in Deansville, New York, 2 Feb 1854. Cynthia was born in Marshall, New York 1 Dec 1828.

Newton Crissey and Cynthia R. Miller had the following children:

1394 i. Charles M.⁹ Crissey was born in Stockton, New York 4 Aug 1857. Charles died 23 Oct 1888 in Omaha, Nebraska, at 31 years of age. He married Julia Maude Foster in Grant Park, Illinois, 3 May 1883. Julia was born in Chicago, Illinois Aug 1859.

1395 ii. Anna Lucina Crissey was born in Stockton, New York 14 Jan 1860.

1396 iii. Mary Rachel Crissey was born in Stockton, New York 16 Mar 1864.

1397 iv. Jenney C. Crissey was born in Stockton, New York 24 Oct 1867.
