1. Families with Young Children

    2. The group, which meets monthly on Sundays, is for parents of children through the first grade. Several activities from 1997 included a picnic at Gage Park, Tomah Shinga outing, Vaughn's Apple Orchard, Red Barn Farm, Christmas Tree decorating, caroling to shut-ins, and a Halloween party.

    5. This group meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. This past year we gave away 70 quilts to be used either for lap robes or in a crib. These were given to Lutheran Social Service, Rolling Hills, Topeka Convalescent Center and Doorstep. The 14 bed size quilts went to Doorstep or Lutheran World Relief. Our volunteers do some work at home but much of the sewing and tying is done at church. The group would enjoy and could use more volunteers.
