Weighing choices is something that people have to do everyday. Most important is making the right choices can have eternal effects on where one will spend eternity: Heaven or Hell. From birth to death a person is free to choose their final destination. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" (Hebrews 9:27)

Judgment will be a time when every one will stand before God and give account for the way they lived weather good or bad. "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." (Revelation 20:12)
