Tributes Zorn is an artist who attributes his influences very literally. On Naked City's Radio album, there is a list of influences on the inside cover that directly matches each song, (The Meters correspond to a funk tune, etc.). Many of Zorn's albums have been made as tributes to various artists, and they bear direct resemblance to both his style and their's. In fact, Zorn's first work in the studio was the arrangement of a Thelonius Monk tune, "Shuffle Boil" for a trbute album to Monk.
