stories
Foreword
It was a while back (as it always is)
when I had the idea for this. I was in sixth
form, and Sally, a friend, mentioned a selection of fifty word
stories in 'The Independent', apparently for some competition. I read them
with enthusiasm, some were good, some were great, some sheer genius.
I knew I couldn't emulate the latter, so I tried my
hardest and hope I managed the former.
There was a further
competition in the mail, this time with a 65 limit, and
with this extended limit, I had a further try... My attempts
are below...
