Me

Me

It always sound rather egocentric to describe yourself. Ever so slightly pompous, I realise that that's probably just my opinion and many would disagree, however, comtained within this page are some things that go together to become me, and within the other pages it's possible to ascertain many other things that I wouldn't dare write down explicitly...

The general basics are that my name's Julian, I'm 20 (and that takes me by surprise...) at The University of York studying Mathematics and Physics (4 year), currently in my third year.

Appearance wise I'm about 5ft 8in (about 170cm), with blond hair usually in whatever quasi-neat array I can arrange it in in the morning (sometimes bordering on a Tin-Tin style), blue eyes (just blue, not a piercing blue, a fierce blue, none of the bright blue crap you hear of, just a plain dull grey-blue). My build is on the side of heavy, but just enough to make people think it's simple diet or lack of exercise and nothing genetic or metaboloic rate related. With the bad picture of me to the right, I'm sure you know what I mean...

Attitude-wise, I'm pretty much on the mild side, especially around strangers, when I approach silent and... well just silent. Round people I know quite well I'm slightly sarcastic and with good friends or family I can talk non-stop bollocks that occasionally means something, all the while invoking my sarcastic monotone, which some people seem inclined to comment upon. Out-look wise I'm generally cynical, occasionally pessimistic, less occasionally optimistic, at times I could be described as a sentimental old fool, but I lack the age, or a hopeless romantic, but by definition a romantic should always live with hope. Oh, and I have a slightly strange sense of humour, not totally bizarre but slightly askew.

My interests are rather mundane, I never was a live dangerously kind of person, I have always been a why do today when you can put off till tommorow person, and as such I never really get anything done. At times I just follow the easiest path, like uni, I'm here (one of many reasons) because it was the next step after Sixth Form, which logically followed High School, and so on, the choice of a four year course was partly due to being able to put off any decision of any kind of importance as long as possible, thus avoiding what is often called the real world until I can do so no longer. But interests... I like films, tv, music (listening, I can't play a note), reading, and sporadically writing something.

That just about covers most of me, for interest I often refer to friends, I make too many apologies in life, so I will refrain from apologising about this, sorry about that. But anyway, to make up for it, you may be interested in some stuff about them (and basically if you've read this far you probably are one of them), mainly I refer to Methwold Sixth Form for want of a better thing to do. While I was there I took three simple A-Level courses that changed my view on the world (and made me what I am today), Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and related to chemistry and physics we have two further pages, Chemistry has the God that is Le Châtelier, and Physics (by dint of a certain teacher) has The hamster page but here are links to three pages of three friends

Miscellaneous

I mentioned my ever so slightly strange sense of humour, some of these are related to that problem...
