In life we always regret, that is the nature of living it appears, taking one option always means we miss another, and so we often dwell on what might have been... that is to be excused, almost expected... only sometimes that takes over your life until you live out everyday remembering how it was and wishing for how it might have been, sometimes we tell ourselves it doesn't matter, but the fact is not only are we lying to ourselves, but deep down we know we are...
Anyway, this is a short story that I wrote on an idea that went round my head for a while. I'm rather fond of it.

Matt, a friend of mine, also enjoyed it and so when we found out about a competition to write a 10 minute short-film script, we decided to adapt this, quite considerably, in comparison to the original story. The script, the final version of it, is available below... Incidentally, we didn't win...
