The Wolf Den
of
Wade L. Neumann
I was non-traditional college student at
Miles Community College in Miles City, MT. Presently, I have
earned my Associate of Arts Degree; three Associate of Applied
Sciences Degrees: One in Business: Mid-Management; and two in
Computer Technologies: Business and Multimedia Applications.
Currently I am enrolled in the Distance Learning Program jointly
offered by MCC and the University of Great Falls
(based in Great Falls, MT http://www.ugf.edu). I attend classes over the internet in a classrom at MCC. But after
this semester, this will end. See the UGF Hate Page for the
explaination.
I have a Federal Firearms License and operate a small
custom-order store in Miles City, where I deal in speciality
orders. I plan to be in business through the beginning of
December 1999, at least.
I am also a licensed radio operator (Disk Jockey). I
used to work at a pair stations where the FM station aired
Adult Contemporary music and the AM station aired New Country.
The announcers worked both stations at the same time. This
is not the easiest thing to do, having rock coming out of the
room speakers and country music in the headphones. Plus, when
the commercial breaks hit at the same time, you were scrambling
to play the right ads at the right time. Both stations received
their music from satellite feeds, so at least we didn't have
to play live music on both of them at the same time. The
stations are KMCM FM-92.5 and 1050 KMTA AM.
When I attended Eastern Montana College (now Montana
State University-Billings) in the middle 1970's, I was trained
to do live radio at KEMC 91.7 FM. We were a non-commercial
educational radio station, with a varied format of Golden
Oldies, Adult Contemporary/Soft Rock, and Classical music.
We also had our own comedy show we created with the help of
the DJ staff every week. I was a DJ and the Assistant
Programming Director.
This June I reach the big four-one, Yes the big 41.
In the past I have worked as a printer, nightwatchman,
security guard, janitor, service station cashier, movie
projectionist, and worked in a carnival.
You know, I still don't know what I want to be when
I grow-up. I still haven't gotten there, yet. No one can
accuse me of being in my second childhood, since I haven't
left the first one.
