Dorothy McNulty was born in 1918 in Minnesota, Ottertail County, near Phelps Mill, the daughter of Martin and Hattie (Northup) McNulty . Dorothy married Donald F. Peterson. The family moved to Glasgow, Montana, along with Uncle Simeon Northup. Donald and Dorothy had 5 children.
