More Information: She is a vampire hunter. More importantly "the Cat". A hunter that most if not all the Night World People fear and have offered a reward for. Since her mothers death she has learned to fight, and killed her first vampire at the age of 12. She's always searched for the one: the good looking vampire who killed her mom. When she kills a vampire she always uses a statement reflecting how she got her nickname. She says "This kitten has claws" and leaves claw-like marks on the vampires. This ritual statement is said partly to remember her mother (who called her kitten because of her eyes) and partly as a joke. (Vampires - bats and she as the cat. Batman and Catwoman.) When hunting she wears a black ninja outfit with a bokken, a wooden Japanese sword she uses to stake vampires. She has worked with the Lancers - the best vampire hunters on the east coast. When she goes with them on a hunt she meets her match. and her soulmate, who just happened to be the same vampire, John Quinn. Quinn is one of the most famous made vampires and possibly the worst. Rashel doesn't kill him though . . . or really even try. She lets him go. The Lancers are mad and don't really have much to do with Rashel after that, considering her to be a vampire lover. She rescues a girl from kidnappers, who turn out to be vampires who are kidnapping girls for a blood fest - something that is illegal in the Night World. Then it happens . . . she becomes one of the kidnapped.
